
Pan Gongsheng, Governor of the People’s Bank of China (PBOC), met separately with the heads of several leading international economic institutions during December 8–10, as they visited
Beijing to attend the “1+10” Dialogue.
The meetings were held with Kristalina Georgieva, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF); Pablo Hernández de Cos, General Manager of the Bank for International Settlements (BIS); Andrew Bailey, Chair of the Financial Stability Board (FSB); and Ajay Banga, President of the World Bank Group (WBG).
According to the PBOC, the discussions focused on developments in the Chinese and global economies, as well as cooperation between China and the respective international organizations. The exchanges covered issues of shared interest in monetary policy, financial stability, and global economic governance.
