China has announced the addition of 28 U.S. entities to its export control list as part of efforts to "safeguard national security and interests," according to a statement from the
Ministry of Commerce on Thursday.
The targeted entities include prominent companies such as General Dynamics, Boeing Defense, Space & Security, Lockheed Martin, and Raytheon Missiles & Defense.
As part of the restrictions, China will prohibit the export of dual-use items—products that can serve both civilian and military purposes—to these companies, effective immediately, the ministry stated. Photo by N509FZ, Wikimedia commons.
